We had a great time at the Studebaker Meet this weekend. I had plenty of time to drool over one of my favorites: the Studebaker Avanti. These were original '63-'64 Studebakers, not Avanti IIs, but there were some outstanding Avanti IIs there too.

I love the early Avantis with the round headlights. The fact that this is an R2 with a 4-speed makes it even better.

Well, these are two different Avantis. The '64 is an R2 (square headlights), but the '63 is an even more badass R3. Here's a picture that didn't quite make the cut, but shows its awesome engine.
